About Kauai Chocolate Company
After you've been out on a Nā Pali Coast boat tour or caught that sunset sail from Port Allen Harbor, you'll want something sweet – and Kauai Chocolate Company delivers. This family-owned spot in the Port Allen Marina shopping center has been crafting small-batch chocolates since 2003.
Their famous Opihi Chocolate is a must-try – it's become such an island favorite that locals stock up here. The tropical truffles and macadamia nut creations are equally strong. You can watch them making chocolates right there in the shop, which gives you a behind-the-scenes look you won't find at typical souvenir stops.
Beyond the chocolates, they've got lemon bars and cookies that stand up to anything on island. The staff knows their product well – they'll explain the different varieties and let you sample before you decide.
Since you're already at Port Allen for your boat tour, this is an easy addition to your day. Parking's straightforward in the marina lot, and they're open daily until 8 pm. It's a solid option for authentic Kauai-made treats to take home or a reward after time on the water. The prices match the quality.
